We like to connect families with therapists that fit their needs. We can refer to therapists who work alongside Nurtured Pathways and also to companies that we have formed connections with and can provide available supports. We believe it isn't a 1 size fits all for everyone and cater for the needs of each individual family/child, while allowing their choice and control for the decision.
Amy offers consultancy to parents as they navigate the diagnosis of autism for their child. Supports include; understanding the diagnosis, behaviours, emotions and advocating for your child and their needs.
Amy has a unique perspective as she has walked a similar journey with her own child/family and gained a lot of experience through her lived and work experience as an educator. Amy also has an Autism Inclusion degree that informs her knowledge further.
Having someone understand and able to emphathise, share, advocate and guide you, is her ultimate goal as an autism consultant.

We aim to build understanding of your child and their unique needs, develop their skills and provide strategies to help your family. We believe being family focused has the greatest impact towards your child’s learning and development growth.
Collaborating in a therapist team has been shown to be the most effective intervention for children. Therapists in an early intervention team can be - a key worker, early childhood educator, occupational therapist, speech therapist, physiotherapist, psychologist, play therapist, behaviour support, allied health and more.
Having a team around your child in these early years, allows them to learn and develop skills specific to their needs and enhances their potential growth.
Key Workers are specialists in early childhood development and intervention supports, who provide inclusive and family-centred support through the NDIS 'Key Worker' model. They have a degree in education or Allied Health and are familiar with the NDIS early intervention approach. They work in a multidisciplinary team.
They can provide your family with coaching and mentoring to develop skills and strategies to promote your child’s development. Key Workers can support in your child’s natural settings - home, childcare, school or in the community. They also work with you and your family which can be weekly, fortnightly or a few sessions (whatever suits your family and NDIS plan. They can attend stakeholder meetings with relevant school/childcare/external supports to help advocate for your child’s needs.
We connect families to therapists, including paediatric speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapist, psychologist, play therapist and other external supports. Our team works closely with local organisations to ensure families have access to the resources they need to thrive. Our team can link you into other community supports like equine therapy, interest based activities across the Gold Coast and local community groups.
We provide parent coaching and mentoring as part of our early childhood supports under the Key Worker model. This can be during a session with your child, showing how to approach and support them, or done one on one to help build your understanding of their challenges and emotions in a supportive way, face to face or via telehealth. We also have practitioners that mentor and coach educators and childcare staff to build their knowledge and understanding around disabilities and early childhood intervention, the NDIS process and how to support families.
Pricing is stipualated by the NDIS and monitored. We pride ourselves on ensuring reasonable pricing is offered for a range of programs and services for our clients.
